This optimization module is built for material calibration and FEA. Some of the features are:
- GUI or input file driven, both being finite element- and material-centric.
- Optimization techniques such as SQP, Nelder-Mead, Levenberg-Marquardt and evolution (genetic) algorithms.
- Test data may come from homogeneous coupon tests (material point data), or component tests (FE models or boundary value problems).
- For coupon tests, Z-opt is linked to Z-sim, and to any FE program for component tests. In either case the actual material calculations are performed by Z-mat Library.
